HOW DOES IT WORK?
A collection of 200 books are selected to be read
completely by the students from Class 1 to Class 8.

The time they complete Class 8, PakTurk students will have read the entire 200
books included in the primary and secondary segments of the 200 Essentials
Reading Scheme. The collection of books include the world classics, Pakistan
classics, biographies, history, fiction and children classics; all of which
have carefully been selected keeping in view the national and cultural values
of Pakistan.
The book collections are available at the PakTurk school libraries for students
to get them issued. The books for Class 1 to Class 5 will be issued by the
class teachers and the English language teachers will issue books to the
students of Class 6 to Class 8. Once a student borrows a book from the
collection, (s)he is to read it completely within 2 weeks. As the books will be
turned in after reading, each student’s reading progress will be logged in the
e-logbook software and the returned books will be issued to the students who
have not read them yet.
